Campaigns and sequences
Create a campaign, build the email sequence and set up sending.
A campaign sends a sequence of steps to a group of leads from your connected mailboxes. Prerequisites: at least one connected mailbox and imported leads.
Create a campaign
- Go to Campaigns → New campaign.
- Choose your ideal customer (ICP) and the leads to contact. Contacts on the suppression list are shown but can never be added.
- Choose the channel (email is available), describe your offer and call to action in a sentence or two, then pick a tone.
- Build the sequence: generate it with AI (this uses credits) or write it yourself.
- Set up sending: mailboxes, daily limit, timezone and send window, then save.
The sequence
The AI-generated sequence has 4 steps: an initial email on day 1 with 3 variants (short and direct, problem-focused, insight-based), then 3 follow-ups at +2, +3 and +4 days. You review and edit every email before saving. You can add, move or delete steps: email, wait, condition, AI action, task, webhook, plus manual tasks (call, LinkedIn) that you carry out yourself. Nothing is automated on LinkedIn.
Sending rules
- The default send window is Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, in the campaign timezone.
- Emails rotate across the selected mailboxes; a lead keeps the same mailbox so replies stay in a single thread.
- By default, AI-written emails must be approved before they are sent.
- Open and click tracking is off by default.
- A lead leaves the sequence if they reply, bounce, unsubscribe or mark your message as spam.
