Install and connect
Add the extension to Chrome, then enter your app's address and an API key with the write scope (created in Settings → API keys).

Open a page and click
On a person's or a company's page, click the extension icon. Nothing is read before that click.

Review and add
Fields are pre-filled (name, title, company, website, and email or phone when they appear on the page). Correct them, then add: a single lead is created.
What it reads, and what it never does
The extension is deliberately limited. You see everything it sends before you confirm.
What it reads (on click only)
- The page title and its metadata
- The site's domain
- The text you selected
- Emails and phone numbers visible on the page, offered as suggestions
What it never does
- Read a page in the background: it only acts when you click the icon
- Collect leads in bulk
- Browse or automate actions for you, LinkedIn included
- Run remote code: its security policy forbids it

Frequently asked questions
What data does the extension collect?
Only what is on the page you are viewing at the moment you click: title, metadata, domain, selected text, and visible emails and phone numbers. It does not reveal hidden contact details and does not query any external database.
Is the extension free?
The extension is free to install. It uses the Outbly API: you need a plan that includes API access (see the Pricing page).
Does it work on LinkedIn?
It can pre-fill a record from any readable page you are viewing, but it automates nothing: no browsing, no bulk collection, no actions on your behalf. Follow the terms of use of the sites you visit.
Where do added leads go?
Into your Outbly workspace, like a lead added by hand. You can then use them in your campaigns.
How do I remove the extension or my key?
Remove the extension from chrome://extensions. You can also revoke the API key in Settings → API keys.
